Last Saturday we celebrated the talented and dedicated residents who dance every Saturday afternoon with a special event showcasing their ballroom dance routines. We gathered together and enjoyed the rhythm, tunes and most of all watching our friends and neighbors perform. It was an afternoon of Dancing with the Stars!
Earlier this week we used The Gardens kitchen to make a fall time favorite treat; popcorn balls! The residents helped with every step, from mixing up the popcorn and marshmallow mixture to forming the popcorn balls and decorating them. It is the start of the holiday season and we have lots of fun activities planed to get you in the spirit! Between Oktoberfest, U of A homecoming and Halloween we have many reasons to celebrate.
We have some very talented artists that live in The Gardens. Each Sunday we do a different craft in the afternoon so that our residents can express their talents. This past Sunday it was with watercolor paintings. Afterward we displayed their artwork around the house for all to enjoy!
The Gardens was filled with an amazing aroma from todays Chef Demo! Chef Mike made a Fountains original, Bosnian Chicken. Last Thursday evening we held our second Wine and Paint event. Nikki Bellio our very talented art instructor planned an extraordinarily creative evening for us.
