The Inn and Gardens residents went to Sullivan's Ice Cream Parlor for an old-fashioned sundae. Much to our surprise the sundaes were much bigger than we imaged! With old-fashioned décor and a great service, we will soon be there again for a full lunch outing! It was a great way to beat the summer heat!

Lions and tigers and bears oh my! The residents at The Inn and The Gardens saw that and so much more. We learned about animals from all parts of the world. The Reid Park Zoo, founded in 1967, is a 24-acre city-owned and operated non-profit zoo in Tucson, Arizona. The zoo features more than 500 animals. We had the privillege of having a behind the scenes visit at the Zoo. We got to see baby Nandi, get up close with a 10 year old Rhino and […]

It was a perfect day for the zoo! We got to feed the giraffes and even encountered a peacock walking between exhibits.
We took a trip to the Tucson Botanical Gardens and it is in full bloom. After a walk in the beautiful greenery we went to lunch at the Blue Willow Restaurant. A very pleasant afternoon!
