Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo (the fifth of May) is celebrated to honor Mexico’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. Despite having a small band of fighters, the Mexicans were able to defeat the massive French army on May 5, 1862.

A long-standing tradition in our community we started the day with our famously delicious breakfast buffet served on the Catalina Patio on Saturday, May 5th, starting at 8:00 am. The Mariachi Francisco Band performed and everyone had a really enjoyable time.
