On a clear unseasonably warm (record breaking 84 degrees), 20 residents ventured to the mid town Tucson Botanical Gardens, a beautiful oasis consisting of seventeen specialty gardens spread over 5 1/2 acres. The gardens are home to a butterfly exhibit and is hosting The Freda Kahlo Exhibit on loan from New York. Everyone had a wonderful time exploring the gardens and were awed by the graceful flight of the butterflies. We returned back home and all enjoyed a delicious pizza lunch. What a great day!
