Watermark University Presents Traditions of the Jewish New Year

Residents gathered to share the traditions passed from generation to generation celebrating the Jewish New Year 5779. Rosh Hashanah is the holiday celebrating the Jewish New Year. In addition to spending time with families and eating special food, individuals attend services at synagogues and recite ritual prayers. It is customary to wish each other a Sweet New Year, or L’Shanah Tovah!
